Fibryna bogatopłytkowa – współczesne spojrzenie na jej zastosowania w medycynie estetycznej i stomatologii

Abstrakt

Wstęp i cel. W ostatnich latach wzrasta popularność fibryny bogatopłytkowej stosowanej w zabiegach chirurgii szczękowo‑twarzowej i medycynie estetycznej. W prezentowanym artykule przedstawiono przegląd i podsumowanie bieżącego medycznego piśmiennictwa odnoszącego się do zastosowań tego preparatu.
Materiał i metody. Przeprowadzono przegląd bieżących, angielskojęzycznych publikacji medycznych w bazie danych PubMed, używając fraz: „PRF”, „platelet‑rich fibrin in aesthetic medicine”, „platelet‑rich fibrin in dentistry”.
Wyniki i wnioski. PRF jako preparat autologiczny, tani i łatwy do uzyskania, który można zastosować w wielu zabiegach medycyny estetycznej i stomatologii, może stanowić o przyszłości tych gałęzi medycyny. W najbliższych latach należy jednak zwrócić uwagę na przeprowadzenie bardziej szczegółowych badań efektów tej terapii, gdyż większośc dotychczasowych oparta została na małych grupach pacjentów, z krótkim okresem follow‑up lub zawiera błędy w projekcie badawczym.
