Toczeń rumieniowaty krążkowy – opis przypadku, trudności diagnostyczne i terapeutyczne

Toczeń rumieniowaty krążkowy (DLE) jest najczęstszą postacią tocznia rumieniowatego. Do charakterystycznych zmian należą blaszki rumieniowe z hiperkeratozą mieszkową, wyraźnie odgraniczone od otoczenia, które ustępują z atrofią i bliznowaceniem, doprowadzając do znacznych defektów estetycznych. Konsekwencją zajęcia owłosionej skóry głowy jest łysienie bliznowaciejące. Na podłożu długo utrzymujących się, nieleczonych ognisk może rozwinąć się rak kolczystokomórkowy (squamous cell carcinoma, SCC). Z drugiej strony SCC pozostaje w kręgu różnicowania ognisk DLE. Prezentujemy trudności diagnostyczne i terapeutyczne związane z DLE.
